BAGNODESIGN is part of the Sanipex Group, born in Dubai and now operating globally in more than 40 countries. Their extensive range includes sanitary ware and furniture, brassware and accessories, bath and shower components, as well as a spa selection.
“We’re a boutique brand, and so we’re able to move fast and follow trends,” says Daryl Barker, Group Managing Director at SANIPEX Group. “We are also fortunate enough to have the ability to work with major design houses and independent designers who inspire us with their requests to make special products for five-star hotels or restaurants, which we are able to develop and commercialise.”
Starting with the on trend and industrial Revolution range, to the traditional and timeless Biarritz, modern and minimal M-Line, sleek and contemporary Funktion, and urban luxe Toko – BAGNODESIGN’s portfolio caters to any design palette. Plus, the brand also has extensive spa options with multi-functional LED recessed shower heads, whirlpool baths and steam rooms for a relaxing retreat or invigorating experience.
“Unique finishes are what’s driving BAGNODESIGN’s growth at the moment,” says Barker. “In our mixers, accessories and showers, we are offering eight different finishes and creating new ones simultaneously. We are about to launch Anthracite, which is a beautiful soft gunmetal finish. We are also seeing a big uptake in colours of sanitary ware. People have had a tough time with COVID in the last year and they need some colour in their lives. So wherever we can, we will introduce colour.”
The other driver of BAGNODESIGN success is their ability to carry stock locally. Their current facility in Jebel Ali allows quantities of approximately 150 million dirhams, making them to service not only UAE but the region as well.
BAGNODESIGN is looking forward to a 9,000 square foot showroom space opening in Sharjah in September, as well as one more in Dubai in the final quarter of the year. The latter will spread over 18,000 square feet and will serve as an ‘Experience Centre’ with a complete apartment housed inside for visitors to come in and be able to see and use the products.
