Extremis designs products with a purpose. The brand staunchly believes that behind the birth of each product should be a deeper rationale. They only start developing an idea if it is both necessary and useful, and simultaneously offers a solution. The result is more than furniture: something that makes you look at things differently, sparks meaningful interactions, to love for a lifetime and to pass on to the next generation.

It all started in 1994, with Dirk Wynants designing his own outdoor family table.
He went into his shed, and came back with a table that was centered around quality, eco-friendliness and most importantly, togetherness. Gargantua consists of four benches orbiting a round table, easily adjusted in height and fit for any size. Simple yet ingenious, and this is how Extremis was born. From then on, several innovative designs would see the light of day.
Extremis’ “tools for togetherness” know no boundaries. Whether creating a cozy garden terrace, a charming sidewalk café or refreshing an office space, each product is designed to bring friends, family or colleagues together in new ways.
