Developing innovative new products that lead the market is the standard at Herman Miller and an opportunity exists for both Herman Miller and Love That Design to work together to achieve innovation and growth in the region.

Learn More About Herman Miller

Herman Miller is a global provider of furnishings and related technologies and services.

For over 100 years we have been solving problems for people wherever they work, live, learn, and heal.

Herman Miller has had a presence in MEA for over 30 years. The Middle East and Africa regional office was established in Dubai in 1999, which comprised a 4-member team with a small office space in the Business Centre on bank street in Bur Dubai. Herman Miller MEA opened its Regional Design Centre in November 2014 at Marina Plaza, Dubai Marina. The team has over 25 members working alongside a well-established dealer network.

Herman Miller designs, as well as those developed in partnership with leading independent designers, solve real problems for people and the organizations they work for.

Chris Morley, Head of Design at Herman Miller Middle East, underlines the importance of Herman Miller’s commitment to design excellence as a reflection of their strongly held values and the company’s history of innovation. “We know our customers’ needs aren’t confined to the work environment; they’re concerned with the reliability of every aspect of their relationship with Herman Miller.” In order for them to address these concerns, Herman Miller continually has to apply, and at times pioneer, innovative practices and technologies.

Rob Keddie, Regional Director for Herman Miller, reiterates the company’s corporate mission as simply this: “Inspiring designs to help people do great things.” Herman Miller designs, and those developed in partnership with leading independent designers, solve real problems for people and the organizations they work for. Technology-enabled work and learning are taking place almost anywhere, even as the traditional aesthetic boundaries between the office, classroom, and home are blurring. He underlines the fact that today’s commercial and institutional spaces need to reflect the vibrancy, diversity, and connectivity of places where people choose to meet and work together.

Keddie feels that Herman Miller continues to pioneer solutions that empower people to be more creative, connected, and engaged. The company is collaborating with thought leaders and designers to apply a greater understanding of people—how they think, how they are motivated, and how they create—to a complete understanding of work today.
