“We enable our customers to create aesthetic spaces where people can live and work well. Our goal is to bring our green visions into reality and establish OBJECT CARPET as the most sustainable brand in the textile flooring sector,” Martin Böhringer, Marketing Director of OBJECT CARPET. “This is internalised in our corporate philosophy, which is based on our three DNA elements – design, sustainability and health. People and the environment are always in the focus of all our activities and strategies. The implementation of a circular economy with 100% recyclable products is the basis of our future way of working complemented by full customer service.”

All OBJECT CARPET styles are bitumen, latex and PVC free, avoiding harmful emissions. They bear the German Federal Environmental Agency’s Blue Angel ecolabel, and have been tested by TÜV as being suitable for people suffering allergies. This is appreciated by customers around the world, from the Berlinale to the Healthy Seas initiative.

Numerous design and business awards, such as the widely respected Red Dot and German Design Award, have demonstrated OBJECT CARPET’s outstanding design competence and corporate achievements. For example, OBJECT CARPET was chosen as one of the top 50 German luxury brands by Ernst & Young, and one of the brands of the century by Langenscheidt.

With innovative production techniques and sustainable manufacturing methods, OBJECT CARPET is a pioneering enterprise that enables design visions to become a reality. So it came as no surprise that the company was selected to provide the VIP carpet for the German Sustainability Award ceremony. OBJECT CARPET’s tiles, wall-to-wall, and custom-cut carpets (RUGX) are verifiably recommended by the TÜV (German Technical Inspection Association) for allergy sufferers, and reduce dust content and particulate matter in the air.

Plans for growth in the MEA region

Moving forward, this year the brand intends to build a stronghold in Saudi Arabia, particularly with the Kingdom’s focus on sustainable initiatives, such as the Red Sea Project, a luxury, regenerative, tourism destination. They are also quite active in the Congo, and working closely with Purpose ID, who have an established studio in Dubai with projects across the Middle East and Africa.
