Quooker Now On Love That Design

A Quooker is pure convenience. It allows you to get instant 100°C boiling, hot, cold, chilled, still and sparkling water, directly from tap, and best of all, it is filtered. We are proud to welcome this brand on Love That Design!

Quooker is a family firm built on enthusiasm and entrepreneurship. It is the pride of the Peteri family – Henri Peteri, inventor of the boiling-water tap, and his sons, directors Walter and Niels Peteri. This invention is now an indispensable feature of the modern kitchen. Around the world, millions of Quooker users enjoy the convenience of filtered, boiling water and, since the introduction of the Quooker CUBE, chilled still and sparkling water, all from a single tap. No more waiting for the water to boil to make a cup of tea or coffee, or blanch vegetables, make couscous or sterilize baby bottles. Having a Quooker means you always have filtered, boiling, chilled and even sparkling water at your disposal, making plastic bottles a thing of the past!

About Quooker

It is our mission to make the boiling water tap a kitchen essential worldwide. With a Quooker CUBE (chilled and sparkling water function), we ensure that every time we install a Quooker tap we are helping  the environment by saving energy and water and reducing plastic consumption.

– Philipe van der Loo, Managing Director, Quooker Emirates LLC

The Quooker was the very first boiling water tap in the world. The collection consists of various taps in a variety of different finishes. “For every kitchen, there is a Quooker to match, and to ensure the highest quality, all Quooker products are designed and manufactured in our own factory in the Netherlands and come with a two year warranty,” says Philipe van der Loo, Managing Director, Quooker Emirates LLC.

“It is our mission to make the boiling water tap a kitchen essential worldwide. With a Quooker CUBE (chilled and sparkling water function), we ensure that every time we install a Quooker tap we are helping  the environment by saving energy and water and reducing plastic consumption.”

Quooker is already a market leader in many countries in Europe, while still growing at a tremendous speed in big markets like the UK and Germany. “Even in the Netherlands, our home market where we have been present for many years, we still grow rapidly,” says Philipe. “For instance, currently more than 35% of all new kitchens in the Netherlands and Denmark have a Quooker installed. And while we are growing at a rapid speed there is so much more potential, not only in the UAE, but also in the GCC region.”

Quooker have recently introduced their Fusion and Classic Fusion taps in both round and square styles in an entirely new finish – patinated brass.

Patina is a layer that develops on brass due to oxidation. It slowly changes colour, turning lighter or darker brown in different spots. Wherever you lay your fingertips, the surface will discolour in a distinct way, leaving your own individual touch on the tap. This natural process means your tap will become not only a practical kitchen tool, but a personal ornament for the countertop.

Quooker are continuously working on innovating, developing and manufacturing the latest technology. We can certainly expect new, exciting and innovative products in the near future.
