The Shortlisting Tool – Find Interior service providers at your fingertips

Behind one interior design project, there exist several stakeholders – designers, manufacturers, photographers, suppliers, contractors, the list goes on. Building the dream team is always the goal, but until that happens – everyone is always looking for the perfect match through trial and error. Sometimes, connections are made through referrals and sometimes a strong marketing campaign can bring two seemingly like-minded entities together. However, now, there exists a more thoughtful and intent-driven way to go about this process.

Love That Design, a media platform, whose aim is to showcase related products and projects in a seamless manner – has come up with a shortlisting tool that can bridge the gap and present seekers with an unbiased list of interior service providers with just a few clicks. The source data for this list has been generated from Love That Design’s existing database of projects and products. Follow through to learn how to generate a list of potential partners for your next project….

Step 1

1. Log on to www.lovethatdesign.com and click on the three lines on the top left-hand corner of your screen. From the drop-down list, select ‘Shortlist partners for your next project’ under the Resources title.

Conversely, you could also click the profile icon on the top right-hand corner of your screen, and select ‘Shortlisting Tool’ from the drop-down list.

Step 2

On the next screen that appears, enter the name of your upcoming project (don’t worry, we won’t take your word for it) and select the typology of the companies you are seeking. Click the ‘Next’ button on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 3

Now, select the country your project is based in to filter out companies based in that particular location. You can choose multiple countries as well. Click the ‘Next’ button on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 4

From the broad project types displayed, select the typology/typologies your upcoming project belongs to and hit the ‘Next’ button.

Step 5

Select the sub-type(s) your project specifically belongs to receive an even more refined list. You can even choose to skip this step. On clicking the ‘Next’ or ‘Skip’ button, this time – you will get a dialogue box to sign in or sign up to Love That Design, if you haven’t already.

This step enables us to send you the list generated in the steps to follow.

Step 6

A list of companies, sequenced in the order of number of projects featured on Love That Design appears on the screen. You could also choose to sort the list in alphabetical order by clicking the drop down list on the right-hand side under the title ‘Sort’ and choosing ‘By Company Name’.

Do not fret if you have missed adding any filters. Above the list, you will be able to see all the parameters you have chosen as four lists – each with a ‘+’ sign next to the parameter title. Simply click on that sign to go back and add more.

You can select a maximum of 5 companies for your list, and click ‘Next’ on the top left-hand corner of the screen.

Step 7

Your curated list is now displayed on your screen. By clicking the ‘Email The Result’ button on the top left-hand corner, the list shall be sent to your inbox. Voila! A straight-forward way to obtaining a list of potential partners for your next project.
