Founded over 50 years ago in the heart of the German furniture industry, VD-Werkstätten has grown internationally through continuous investments and innovations to become a leading manufacturer of deep textured wood panels. Today, all of the brand’s products are proudly made in Germany, in the brand’s factory based in Bad Salzuflen, renowned to be home of the German furniture industry.

Plans for growth in the region (Middle East and Africa)

Today, the Middle East is a major growth path for VD-Werkstätten. “We have contributed to iconic projects for Emaar in Dubai and Egypt, delivered unique decorative panels for the Marriott and Hilton Hotels on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai” said Romain. The Mövenpick Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah which is set to open this summer is also part of the recent projects the brand has been working on.

“Despite the uncertainties that remain this year, we approach 2022 with confidence, looking forward to finalizing exciting new projects with the French luxury fashion house DIOR, and by contributing to the development of several hotels for the Red Sea Project in Saudi Arabia”, added Romain.
