WOVEN STORY

Established in 1987, Woven Image is an international interior finishes company with sustainability and design leadership at its core.

From humble beginnings in Sydney, Woven Image now has offices throughout Australia as well as China, Hong Kong and Singapore and a network of distributors covering all major markets including the UK & Europe, North America and Indo-Pacific regions.

The portfolio consists of commercial textiles and acoustic finishes such as EchoPanel®, suitable for wall, ceiling and space dividing applications in interior spaces including workplace, hospitality and education sectors.

ENVIRONMENTAL STORY

The Woven Image acoustic portfolio has been designed with dematerialisation, upcycling and lifecycle management front of mind. All base material utilise recycled or waste materials and printed designs use non-toxic pigment inks with low VOC's.

Since 2004, Woven Image has recycled 4415 tonnes of PET to make its products. This equates to over 220 million 600ml plastic drink bottles that could otherwise end up in landfill or our oceans.

Woven Image achieves first-class environmental certifications for key products, including Global GreenTag™ certification (GreenRate Level A), with the maximum Product Health Declaration™: Platinum Health and an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). As a result, specifying these products can secure credits under sustainable building tools including Green Star, WELL™ Building Standard and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED v4.1). Woven Image is also a long-term supporter of GreenFleet and offsets its carbon emissions through their biodiverse program.

DESIGN COLLABORATIONS

Woven Image nurtures its unique and ongoing commitment to collaborate with Australian and International artists and designers including Michael Young, Dacou Gallery (Minnie Pwerle), Akira Isogawa, John Coburn, Bruce Gould, Dinosaur Designs, Mambo and Bang Design. Woven Image has also formed a key partnership with worldwide design industry leader KnollTextiles which has ensured the Woven Image brand consistently delivers a unique and colourful aesthetic in contemporary textile design.
