Approximately 800 people are employed in BASF Turkey – both, in its offices and production centres across different cities of Turkey. The headquarters is located in Istanbul and it also manages a total of 78 countries including the Russıa, Turkic Republics, Middle East and Africa.

BASF Turkey still carries out its operations with a total of six production facilities. Sales of the products are grouped into four main segments – Chemical, Functional Materials and Solutions, Performance Production and Agricultural Solutions. It provides services to many industrial sectors including automobile, electric and electronics, construction, leather, detergent, cleaning, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, animal feed, agriculture and food.
Group companies, which were known as BASF Structure Chemicals, BASF Coatings and BASF Polyurethane, all of which operated in Turkey under BASF, were merged in September 2014 to create BASF Türk Kimya San. ve Tic Ltd Şti.
