Jesús Alonso was born in Madrid in 1974. At the age of 18, he began his professional career as a photographer, which for several years combined with his studies in business studies and a master’s degree in graphic design and editing.
In 1999, he founded his first studio, Jesús Alonso Studio, specialized in still lifes and took his first steps with cinematographic producers such as Enrique Cerezo, Lola Films or Tornasol and directors like Vicente Aranda, Antonio Hernández or John Malkovic, while becoming interested in fashion photography. It is in this year when he begins to give classes of photography in the Master of the school Efti (Madrid) and in the Polytechnical University of Valencia.
In 2005, he created Digital Art Studio, a digital postproduction photography laboratory, with which he works together to control the digital and color process of his productions.
Currently, he collaborates with fashion publications around the world such as: Elle, Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, Woman or Cosmopolitan. At the advertising level, clients include: Contrapunto, Young & Rubrican, Ogilvy, Publicis, SCPF or TBWA, with which it has won more than thirty international advertising awards such as Cannes, The One Show NY, The Sun … among others.
