In 1986, the Italian architect, art director and designer Piero Lissoni, together with Nicoletta Canesi, founded the interdisciplinary studio Lissoni Associati in Milan, focusing on architecture as well as interior and product/light design. Lissoni and his multinational team thus comprehensively cover these areas, completing them with graphics, art direction and corporate identity. Projects extend globally to include private villas and yachts, residential and hospitality buildings such as Casa Fantini, Conservatorium Hotel, Edition Hotel, Grand Hotel Billia, Mamilla Hotel, Roomers Hotel, Shilla Stay Hotels, The Middle House, The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah, the restaurants Filippo La Mantia, Moriki, Tunes, museum shows at Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, Palazzo della Ragione and Palazzo Reale, the planning of offices, headquarters, factories and showrooms for a variety of clients such as Altagamma, Benetton, Boffi, De Padova, Ferrari, Glas Italia, Lema, Living Divani, Porro.
Piero Lissoni has designed products & exhibition stands for many prestigious companies including Alessi, Audi, B&B Italia, Bonacina 1889, Cappellini, Cassina, Cotto, Fantini, Flos, Gallo, Glas Italia, Golran, Illy, Kartell, Kerakoll Design House, Knoll International, Olivari, Salvatori, Sanlorenzo Yachts, Serapian, Tecno, Viccarbe, Wella. He is art director for Alpi, Boffi, De Padova, Lema, Living Divani, Lualdi and Porro. His architecture and design work is recognized worldwide and has earned him a series of international awards, including the Good Design Award, Red Dot Award, Compasso D’Oro ADI, Elle Decor International; he is guest lecturer and member of the Advisory Board at the Milan Politecnico, inducted into the New York Interior Design Hall of Fame.
