Lugano Dante

Lugano Dante’s new logo, created by Italian designers Lorenzo Saliu and Giordana Dessi, is inspired by the works of the Bauhaus, the famous German school of architecture, art, and design. Walter Gropius, founder of the School, stated that “design is necessary for everyone in a civilized society.

And, at Lugano Dante , they married his idea. The logo ideally recreates the iconic silhouette of Dante Alighieri through a trompe-l’ œil of letters and moving graphics. Lugano Dante’s new brand identity reflects their idea of hospitality, and it is their homage to two immortal icons: Dante and Gropius.
