Alessandra Chemollo is a Venetian photographer. She has worked as a photographer since 1986. In 1995, she graduated in Architecture at the University IUAV of Venice, with a thesis on the relationship between contemporary architecture and photography.
Alessandra taught photography at IUAV from 2003 to 2009. In 1991, she co-founded the agency ORCH, in collaboration with Fulvio Orsenigo and, in 2009, founded the collective fuori_vista, with which she produced and edited SISMYCITY – L’Aquila 2010, a collateral event of the Biennale of Architecture in Venice.
Her work focuses on the representation of the architectural and cultural landscape. She published her photos on the main national and international architectural magazines and has exhibited in many museums in Italy and abroad.
