The Rizoma Architectures studio was founded in 2009, is based in Bologna and consists of a structure made up of a Project Manager, four Project Leaders, six architects, two interior designers and a social media manager. Rizoma Architectures has a working method that does not follow a hierarchical structure, believing that creativity, innovation and adaptability, rather than the strict observance of conventional rules, can be the most effective key to interpreting the phenomena of the world. .
Like the rhizomatic roots of plants, the structure of the studio can count on a dense network of internal and external collaborators: Rizoma Architectures is committed to working as a team, focusing in particular on research & development, on the skills of young professionals and on collaboration with the most innovative. The studio works on the development of projects in the hospitality and housing sectors, smart living and smart working projects.
In recent years, the studio has been involved in various interior design projects for structures able to combine hospitality, food & beverage offer, spaces for work and commerce. The projects of Rizoma Architectures have been published in various international magazines and web portals, some of them have won prizes and mentions, in particular the project of The Student Hotel Firenze won the MIPIM Award 2019 in the Best Mixed-Use Development sector in Cannes.
