The first edition of the Herman Miller Living Office Awards was officially launched at Downtown Design 2018. The competition aims to raise awareness of the importance of good workspace design, and to encourage companies to achieve their organisational goals. It credits designers and their firms for their contribution towards fostering creativity and collaboration within the Architecture & Design community.
Event Description
The submissions will be rated on key elements such as absorption of Herman Miller furniture within the office. They must also look into a company’s focus on investing in workspace design, and providing individuals with a healthy, high-performance ergonomic environment that encourages a range of collaborative activities.
Design proposals will be accepted from the Middle East and Africa region, in two categories – Commercial Business and People’s Choice, and must demonstrate creative use of office space to develop a unique work atmosphere that best serves the company.
