Highlights from the Talking Walls Gala Awards Ceremony
This one-of-a-kind competition brought together six talented teams of interior designers to compete and create bathroom designs that revolutionise the way we perceive and interact with our most intimate spaces.
About the Competition
Held in partnership with Love That Design and Intelier, the competition invites six teams from interior design studios in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah to choose one of six words – Cosy, Vibrant, Harmonious, Grounded, Timeless, or Bold – and create a bathroom design concept inspired by their chosen word for hotel, residential, or commercial interiors.
Mentored by senior colleagues, these teams will explore, imagine, design, and see their concepts come to life in Casa Milano’s showroom. Each design concept will be evaluated by senior peers before being built as a full mockup, and then unveiled one concept at a time on Love That Design’s website. The final showcase will reveal all six designs at Dubai’s most awaited exhibition – Downtown Design. The competition will be led by host and presenter Marina Mrdjen, and winners will be determined by an international and local panel of judges, as well as a public vote award. In addition to the overall winner, there will be additional awards given for best storytelling and most sustainable design.

Showcasing their final designs at Casa Milano’s stand at Downtown Design during Dubai Design Week, the winning team will embark on an unforgettable journey to Europe, exploring Spain’s rich tile culture and gaining invaluable inspiration from the intersection of tradition and innovation in design.
