Arper at Design Post 2022

During Orgatec, one of the most important trade fairs for the contract world, held in Cologne, Arper’s showroom at the Design Post will host two events to present its latest  collections – Aeeri by Peter Kunz, Shaal by Doshi Levien, Oell by Jean-Marie Massaud, Ghia by Studio Altherr Désile Park, and Juno 02, a new recycled plastic edition of the Juno by James  Irvine chair launched in 2012. For this occasion, Arper presents its own interpretation of contemporary and future trends,  rethinking physical spaces and relationships and tracing a new direction that is summed up in  the concept of The Project of Living.

The boundaries between home and work are gone. Now ‘living’ means all the different things we do in a day. Everything is in flux, so anything is possible. How do we want to live? More  seamlessly. More flexibly. More sustainably. More inspired. Each one of us is trying to tie it all  together. At Arper, we create new spaces that explore these possibilities. With harmonious  forms, dynamic color, and versatile furniture that allow us to change and grow. With diverse  perspectives and ideas that shape what is next. With responsive design that helps us live better with our planet.

On October 25 and 26, the showroom will host two events to present the new products and tell  the story of how they express the changes of the world we live in. The first, “Interpreting The  Project of Living”, is a conversation between Roberto Monti, CEO of Arper, and Peter Kunz, architect and designer, on the evolution of spaces and the needs of the people who live in them,  with a particular focus on the new Aeeri collection. The second, “Designing the world we live in,”  will feature Roberto Monti in conversation with Andrea Mulloni, Head of Sustainability at Arper,  over the challenges and opportunities posed by sustainability for design companies.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to return in  person to narrate Arper and present ‘The Project of Living’: a dialogue that embraces change, of  the world as a whole and of people as they evolve, at all stages of their lives. For us, it  translates into the development of universal, versatile and welcoming design, capable of  fostering wellbeing and comfort, made of furniture that knows how to evolve over time, together  with people and their needs.”
