Buddy wins at the FX Design Award 2020
2020 marked the 22nd annual FX Awards, a ceremony dedicated to celebrating both British and International design talent with new and innovative interior products and projects. Buddy the new personal storage solution to accompany height adjustable desking won in the ‘Public Leisure or Office Furniture’ category.
The FX Awards is one of the highlights of the design industry and although streamed online because of Covid-19 the evening still impressed, with categories announced by established members of the industry.
Robin Bayliss, Group Sales Director at Bisley commented on the award, “We are really pleased to have been recognised at the FX Design Awards in the ‘Public Leisure or Office Furniture’ product category for Buddy. To be presented with the award after this year is a fantastic achievement and a credit to all at Bisley for their hard work. This is the first time we have won at the FX Design Awards and we couldn’t be happier. With 10,000 units sold this year alone it is excellent to have this award to celebrate the success of a client-specific product design.”
An alternative to the Caddy from Bisley, Buddy is desk attached as opposed to freestanding. This means that it moves vertically with the desk as the height is adjusted, ensuring that the user can quickly and easily access their belongings – whether sitting or standing.
The panel of judges comprises of 20 industry experts with one commenting “Sit-stand desk users finally have a solution for storing belongings within easy reach whether sitting or standing”
