German Brand Awards for Nowy Styl

This year Nowy Styl was appreciated by the organisers of German Brand Awards. We were dubbed the Winner in the category titled “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation”. On top of it, we received a Special Mention for the Brand Strategy of the Year. It is a memorable distinction fur us, as well as an opportunity to summarise our rebranding efforts.

Authority in design, branding and innovation

German Brand Awards are hosted by the German Design Council, which includes an independent panel of experts and representatives of such sectors as commerce, the media and the world of design. The scope of the event as well as the renowned jury account for the international recognition and prestige of the awards.

German Brand Awards set out to promote and reward the best brands and teams involved in building them. Distinctions are granted in two categories: Excellent Brands and Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation. Projects that deserve special attention because of brand management are granted a Special Mention.

There were as many as 1134 applications from 17 counties in this year’s edition of German Brand Awards 2021. We are happy to know that Nowy Styl was noticed in this prestigious competition, and our rebranding efforts aimed at building a strong global brand have been recognised.

Nowy Styl as a global brand

The basic assumption behind the rebranding project was to enhance and consolidate customer experience, to organise the portfolio of individual brands and to provide an in-depth integration of marketing activities. Global rebranding also offered an extra opportunity to enhance our range, because the portfolio of shared skills, technologies and clients was not expanded with international recognition under the global business name of Nowy Styl – a brand we all endorse and stand for.

Rebranding – a challenge well managed

This distinction is a good opportunity to summarise the rebranding project, which started back in 2019.
The comprehensive process of change was a strategic, but also an organisational challenge. As a company, we’ve been growing dynamically and incessantly expanding our business for the past 30 years, which is why it was so important to redefine our identity and create a new, consistent brand portfolio.

We are all proud of the joint effort made by our international teams. Every day we join forces to work towards a strong global brand of Nowy Styl.
