Let’s Celebrate the UAE’s Unique Heritage as the Country Marks its 50th Year Anniversary.

Open to architects and interior designers across the GCC region, the UAE Edition competition invites them to create a plate design for a mixer tap that celebrates the spirit and sentiment of a unique UAE heritage. The winning design will be one that presents an original, commemorative impression of paying homage to the nation’s golden jubilee.

Entrants can use materials that can be found in the bathroom, such as tiles, wood or stones and they are also encouraged to bring an element or material into the bathroom with which they associate a memory or a personal experience. The aim is to create a one of a kind product and tell unique stories about it, that are inspired by the cultural and spiritual significance of a country soon to reflect on five decades of growth and achievement.

The deadline for UAE Edition competition entries is the 1st of December 2021, with all designs to be submitted on a dedicated landing page via a template, along with a registration form. The winner will see their unique design printed on 50 AXOR MyEdition plates to be distributed to VIPs across the region, as well as a VIP visit to Hansgrohe Group’s facilities in Germany. Along with the runners-up, they will also enjoy special recognition at an AXOR event to be held in December and enjoy media and video coverage across leading outlets.
