Hansgrohe Group Presents Innovations for Sustainable and Holistic Bathroom Experiences

When the world’s leading trade fair for sanitary, heating and air conditioning technology, the ISH, opens its doors in Frankfurt/Germany in a few weeks, the international bathroom industry and interested consumers will meet again after four years. From March 13 to 17, 2023, the Hansgrohe Group, with its brands AXOR and Hansgrohe, will present new products, dream bathrooms and a visionary bathroom concept to an international community on 2,000 square meters of booth space.

“We are delighted to finally be back at the ISH this year with our innovation-filled trade fair booth after a pandemic-related break in 2021. It’s time for personal exchange, for haptic experiences with our innovations from AXOR and hansgrohe, and for celebrating change,”

– explains Hans Jürgen Kalmbach, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Hansgrohe Group.

Indeed, for the Black Forest-based manufacturer, ISH is all about ‘Celebrating Change’, because for the first time, the company will also be presenting sanitary ceramics and bathroom furniture under the premium brand hansgrohe.

“This is our response to the wishes of our customers, who demand holistic bathroom experiences from a single source,”

adds the CEO.

“With pioneering product innovations and inspiring presentations, we are once again living up to our reputation as an industry leader in innovation, design, quality and responsibility. We create inspiring moments with water, while protecting the precious element. For example, with a concept study of the world’s most sustainable bathroom, which will premiere at ISH.”

Hansgrohe’s “Green Vision Beyond Water: Rethinking Bathroom Culture”

As part of the Hansgrohe Group’s multifaceted sustainability goals, the company is implementing its “green vision” in a design study: a bathroom with a 90% reduction in water and energy consumption, and thus also 90% fewer CO2 emissions caused by water heating. “Our vision, the ‘Green Vision Beyond Water: Rethinking Bathroom Culture’ becomes concrete with this concept bathroom,” says Hans Jürgen Kalmbach. “Individual elements of the study are already being used in our innovations, and we will continue to develop others and incorporate them into our technologies and serial products. The important thing for us is to use this concept study to create greater awareness for our use of water in the bathroom.”

The concept bathroom at the ISH is embedded in a booth design that focuses more than ever on sustainability. For the trade fair appearance, Hansgrohe developed an environmentally conscious concept under the motto “reduce – re-use – recycle”: Whether in the use of natural and reusable materials and elements, the reduction of building mass or the rental of furniture and lighting, sustainability plays an elementary role for the Hansgrohe Group in the design of the presentation area.

“Make it Yours” – AXOR Presents Unimagined Design Freedom

AXOR is a pioneer in the development, design and production of avant-garde design objects for luxurious bathrooms and kitchens. The brand’s faucets, showers and accessories carry the demand for perfection in design, manufacturing and function. At this year’s ISH, AXOR will be presenting new washbasins and bathtubs – AXOR Suites – in keeping with the brand’s “Make it yours” campaign. Developed with French design icon Philippe Starck, the products, in combination with the diversity of detail in the AXOR surfaces, expand the immense spectrum of design freedom for individual luxury bathrooms. AXOR Suites can be found at the ISH, among other things, in individual bathroom concepts. They were created in collaboration with the internationally renowned design studios Barber Osgerby, Ushi Tamboriello and Hadi Teherani. These include the “Skyline” concept by London-based design duo Barber Osgerby for a slim, elegant bathroom in a penthouse apartment measuring just seven square meters. Fitted with AXOR One bathroom faucets and AXOR Universal Circular accessories, all in a brand new matte white finish, “Skyline” offers a highly personal vision that reinterprets beauty and well-being in smaller spaces.

hansgrohe Celebrates Change

The premium brand hansgrohe is celebrating the company-wide motto of this year’s ISH ‘Celebrate Change’ with an expanded product portfolio in the areas of furniture and ceramics. With countless combination options and product variations, perfectly coordinated bathroom dreams can now be realized. The premium brand presents harmonious bathroom ambiances from a single source and offers an inspiring trade fair experience with dream bathrooms designed by Peter Ippolito – a Stuttgart-based interior design studio. At the same time, hansgrohe continues its sanitary innovation with an update of the iBox universal. Launched in 2001, the concealed installation has been enhanced with technical refinements and remains the one basic set for every standard and thermostat solution.
