KI’s UK business reports growth of nearly 30% for 2021

KI Report Growth of Nearly 30% for 2021

Despite the lockdowns and restrictions in 2020 and the first half of 2021, KI’s UK business has seen an unprecedented rebound with a sales growth of 29.6% over the previous year.

Sales for 2021 totalled over £18m and is due in part to KI winning an array of significant office projects for a variety of social media, banking, investment management, and professional services firms. Clients include Meta, PwC, EY, KPMG, M&G, and Bet365. KI is also a trusted partner for several global organisations, delivering for their office projects throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

One of KI’s most popular products, especially post-lockdown, is Colonnade. The modular shelving system is completely customisable and allows clients to create flexible, user-controlled workspaces. This has helped companies to adapt and remodel their offices to create more collaborative spaces that support hybrid working.

Outside of the workplace market, KI continues to be the UK’s leading provider of educational seating with over 400,000 chairs and stools sold. This includes the long established Postura+ chair which has evolved into a broader collection to meet any specification.

The Grafton chair has also become a popular choice. This flexible and cost-effective option has been adopted by many universities and schools, including Hartpury College and Cleeve School as an elegant and durable solution in dynamic learning environments.

A universal seating option, KI’s Hatton chairs have reached sales of over 10,000 units and have been delivered to a range of hospitality, education, and workplace facilities, for both indoor and outdoor use.

KI is known for bringing together good design, advanced engineering, and sustainable resources, and for having products that are durable, flexible and offer excellent value. Their most recent product launches include the movement encouraging ‘Ricochet’ stool, and the stackable, tablet-arm chair, ‘Myke’.

The continuing efforts to help customers meet their sustainability and wellbeing goals, including being Indoor Advantage™ Gold Furniture certified, make KI a great choice for those looking to achieve BREEAM, WELL, LEEDv4, as well as those simply wanting to improve the air quality of a space.
