Mediterranean Essence’s by Actiu – First Edition – Brings Together Design and Architecture Experts for Olive Oil Tasting
The first edition of MEDITERRANEAN ESSENCE, an event that celebrates Mediterranean culture through gastronomy, art and design, took place in the past, March 9, 2023. The event was focused on the olive oil tasting experience and gathered experts from the design and architecture fields. Among the attendees were well known companies such as Roar, Dewan, Swiss Bureau, Spacewell, 4Space, Cosentino, Amphora, KOJ Interiors, Love That Design, XO Atellier, Rock Galpin, and 1747 Studio.
The event took place at ACTIU showroom in Dubai Design District and was a resounding success, with attendees enjoying the unique opportunity to taste different varieties of olive oil from the Mediterranean region. The tasting and masterclass was given by international chef and ambassador of olive oil, Iker Zapata, who shared his expertise and passion for Spanish olive oil.
The first edition of MEDITERRANEAN ESSENCE was the first of four events scheduled to take place during the year. The next event is planned to take place at the end of May or early June, with further details to be announced shortly.
