Roar Continues Its Expansion with New Studio Director, Julie Thom
Interior Design & Architecture studio Roar, is excited to announce that Julie Thom, a renowned design consultant with 20+ years of experience working on world class design projects such as Google and Ernst & Young, will join the team as Studio Director on August 15th 2022.
Julie is known for her ability to go beyond the brief and lead the design team to success. Having spent the past few months working alongside Pallavi Dean, the firm’s Founder and Creative Director, in a part time capacity, Julie joins to strengthen the leadership of the firm.
Previously Julie worked as an Associate Director at AAID in Dubai for nearly three years and overall has developed a proven track record for creatively and technically managing all aspects of business and building relationships with clients and stakeholders alike.
“It’s time to level up! We’ve gone from 7 to 30 creatives in a span of 18 months, and as we scale up I wanted a real powerhouse to help me build Roar. Julie is that person. She’ll lead the studio’s day-to day operations, while I remain hands-on as Creative Director, and Kathryn Athreya leads the business side as Managing Director. I’ll also spend more time focusing on two exciting areas of Roar’s next phase: Metaverse strategy and regional expansion”.
