For over 30 years, Katia Dewitte and her team at Limited Edition (LE) have worked tirelessly to create stylish rugs designed to help each room in every home tell its own unique story.
The new designs are inspired by the world around us and assimilate the latest interior design trends. Limited Edition understands that without nature its designs would have no muse, which is why LE products use all-natural materials.
Each new trend embodies Limited Edition’s ethos of ‘Slow Design.’

Statement Pieces
Description: In 2020, designers craved authentic, heartfelt design above the overly manicured, matchy-matchy decors of yester-year. This trend will be prominent in 2021 as well, and so Limited Edition is offering truly inspired and unique rugs.
Agate Low and High
LE designers have captured the complex layers of the colourful Agate stone to create this marvelous, tufted rug. Available in a smooth low cut or a textured high cut, the Agate trend reflects one of Mother Earth’s most hypnotizing creations.
Fearless Living
This daring rug is symbolic of Limited Edition’s conscious choice to be fearless, authentic, and free. Created through a Studio Limited Edition partnership with JP Demeyer, this piece embodies an anti-conformist approach to interior design. The creative imagery is inspired by the historic depictions of eyes used to ward off evil and misfortune, combining style and spirit to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
Mariposa
The butterfly is one of nature’s most delicate and cherished creatures. Limited Edition designers were inspired by the nearly limitless patterns of butterfly wings to create Mariposa, a high-end, tufted rug made up of pools of magnificent, enrapturing colours.
Spiro
True beauty is layers deep – each tufted layer building off of the other to form a singular, magnificent entity. Crafted with a loop pile underlayer in degrade colours, Spiro is unyielding, uniform and strong. On top, the linearly cut pile of wool & silk lines form a pattern of controlled chaos, emulating the intricacies that make each individual uniquely beautiful.
Naturals
Description: Nature is an endless source of inspiration, and Limited Edition well understands the desire to incorporate it into the home. By bringing the colours and patterns of the world outside inside, Limited Edition openly rebels against over-industrialization and mass-production.
Bahia
Inspired by the distinctive landscape of the Sub-Sahara and the cultures that inhabit it, this flat weave rug brings the naturally occurring geometric patterns that surround us into the home. This rug is made with Sisal, a material woven from the Agave plant. Choose between a traditional finish or our unique ‘Luxe Finish’ option for this rug. Rugs with the ‘Luxe Finish’ have both widths turned over. Then we overstitch both lengths with a tone-on-tone thread and add a beautiful thin braid. The anti-slide felt will keep your rug perfectly in place.
Dream Pure
Dream Pure now comes in several new colours, offering new opportunities to incorporate this simple, yet elegant tufted rug into one’s home. This design showcases the purity of the material chosen, while bringing a natural brilliance to one’s space.
Eco Chic
Description: Truly inspired design is not just pleasing to look at or feel, but creates a well-balanced, calming experience that envelops all senses. These rugs incorporate natural colour palates like moss green and earthy orange, as well as comforting textures such as matt velvet and boucle, to create a sacred, perhaps even spiritual, connection to one’s space. Our Eco Chic collection is made from recycled materials and yarns, reducing each rug’s eco-footprint while still remaining as elegant and luxurious as our other offerings.
A bold and compelling statement, Black Mamba is the latest addition to Limited Edition’s woven poolside collection. The black and white stripes attract the eye. Black Mamba is UV-resistant and maintenance-friendly.
Studio Limited Edition
“Studio Limited Edition” is a consortium of internationally revered designers, each offered the freedom and space to create works of art that help to elevate one’s own home. In this release, Limited Edition’s latest partner, British designer Michael Young, has collaborated to create “Parallel Brain,” a thrilling rug created with LE’s revolutionary, hand-tufted seaweed fabric.
Parallel Brain
Colourful and cerebral, Parallel Brain’s designer Michael Young offers a warm, textured, tufted rug that is not only meant to elevate one’s interior design, but also to provoke thought. Inspired by the chemical response of two opposing liquids pushing and pulling against one another, the rug features an elaborate, labyrinth-like array of interlocking geometric patterns. This pattern utilizes Limited Edition’s new “seasilk” material, inspired by Young’s time in Asia and his passion to push the boundaries of what’s possible in fantastic ways. The organic substance, made from seaweed, gives Parallel Brain a soft, shiny texture while also ensuring water resistance and longevity.
Japandi
Description: Sometimes, the softest whisper delivers the strongest message. Utilizing a mix of LE’s finest yarns, the tufted Zodiac is offered in both low and high cut pile. Zodiac low uses its smooth surface and playful lines to create an elegant visual experience, while the high cut focuses on providing a shaggy texture to walk across, making each step its own experience.
Elegant Luxury
Description: In a world where newer is better and where the race for more is constant, it is important to remember that sometimes it is the simple things that have the most to say. Levante
Each rug in this collection is a harmony of hues, reminiscent of tranquil green meadows, warm sandy beaches, or dancing ocean waves. The contrasting light and dark lines are created through the principle of circular knitting and the inclusion of four robust colours. They are then sewn together, interchanging the light and dark strings to create eye-catching rectangular and circular shapes that will transport any outdoor space into a world of its own.
