Julia Dempster

I am Julia Dempster, Managing Director of Interior Motives. Having completed a BA (Hons) in Interior Design at University of Central England and an MA in Furniture Design at Brunel University, I gained experience designing sets for Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles and then got offered the opportunity of a lifetime to design palaces in Dubai for The Crown Prince, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, now the Ruler of the UAE.

Interior Motives was formed in 2002 in Dubai and now have offices in both India and the U.K. We employ an experienced and respected team of interior designers, committed to creating original and individual interiors of quality that stand the test of time.

Our award winning practice has built a reputation for interpreting client aspirations and briefs creatively. We deliver professional well-documented solutions that exceed expectations and add value to projects and most importantly do not exceed the budget.

We work with clients, architects and contractors towards creative, practical and innovative interiors – be they residential, commercial or hospitality projects. We have worked on projects in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Ghana, India, Kuwait, Mauritius, Nairobi, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Switzerland, Tanzania, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.
