Karina Nielsen Rios

Karina Nielsen Rios is product designer versed in fine weaving and textile design graduated from The Danish Design School, the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, Jette Nevers’ textile studio and at the Skals Håndarbejdsseminarium (VIA University College).  As noted by Kvadrat, Karina Nielsen Rios’ style has a sleek and cooly scandinavian touch, with great attention to detail and the technical aspects of weaving– both by hand and as an industrial process. She is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
