Layla Mehdi Pour

She strived to capture nature´s poetic rhythm and mix it with more geometric, triangular shapes that can be combined in different ways and create new expressions and compositions.

Layla Mehdi Pour is an Italy based product designer of Iranian origin. She graduated from IUAV in Venice and the Tehran university of Art with a degree in Industrial Design. After this, she pursued her postgraduate degree in Eco-efficient Product Design at Politecnico of Turin.

Her creative work focuses on reinventing everyday objects by transforming them into innovative, contemporary pieces. Layla Mehdi Pour has exhibited at Milan Design Week, London Design Festival and Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair, among others.
