About the project
The Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) new headquarters exude a true sense of corporate luxury. Design firm HOK were tasked with creating the look and feel, while Woods Bagot worked on the concept design. The offices comprise of two mid-rise towers covering an area of approximately 97,000 square meters.
The interiors were designed to provide a sophisticated office environment that uses the latest trends and technologies. Islamic motifs and warm colours relate to the aesthetics and culture of the region. A gymnasium area along with a library and cafeteria make up the recreational zone. The typical floors were planned in an open space layout mixed with closed offices and private meeting rooms. The executive floors were designed utilising exclusive finishes and furniture items. The project is LEED compliant with power and light efficiency.
