About the project
An airy, green planet effect pervades the interiors of the Agricultural Bank of China, Dubai. Interior Designers, AK Design, in conjunction with contractors ATS and project managers, CBRE, have created spaces that are uncluttered and free-flowing, immediately descending upon you a sense of calm.
This office space in Emaar Business Park works with a palette of light, luminous wood that is generously used on the walls and doors, coupled with a green vertical garden on the accent wall in the reception area, creating a serene, forest effect. Planters dot the common spaces and sit on workstations, carrying the colour green throughout, including on the furnishings and the flooring in the private offices. This also adds a lovely vibrant punch to the white and pale wood interior.
To add to the earthy concept is wall-to-wall carpeting, simulating distressed, wood flooring, making an interesting dichotomy between the nature-inspired backdrop and man-made, modern furniture.
