About the project

Sunrich Meraki was entrusted with designing Atlantic Global’s massive 5000 sq.ft. office nestled in Lower Parel, Mumbai, India. As an industry leader, it was imperative for the workspace of Atlantic Global to adhere to certain goals – maximum employee accommodation whilst giving them their own personal workstation, eight bespoke cabins for the Vice Presidents, the Chairman and the Directors and the essential nitty-gritties integrated seamlessly into one space shared by many yet designed for each.

What seemed like a task fit for designers and manufacturers preeminent in the industry actually came knocking as a challenge – comprehending core values of a company and tying them into a design that is true to the vision’s roots – sea, sails and stability.

To lay the foundation of a lasting first impression, the reception desk of Atlantic Global resembles that of a ship – made using wood and finished in Corian to instantly tie the ambience to the idea of the ocean. This was a golden rule that Sunrich Meraki stood by – bringing the waves to the wonder that this 5000 sq.ft. blank canvas was, in every small and big way. The materials, the colors, the ceiling moulding design and its curves, the marbles and its patterns and shades, the arches – they all paid an ode to the ocean, befitting the company and what it does to its very essence.

The space had to be intelligently designed to accommodate maximum personal space and storage. Sunrich Meraki planned to ensure that it soaked in minimum natural light and that the cubicles followed hierarchy while never seeming cluttered. Each of the eight superior cabins were bespoke and custom-built to accommodate elements close to the occupants’ persona and individuality. The devil is in the details and these tiny additions added a whole world of personality to the design.

Since an office is not only as good as its design but also how technologically-forward and user-friendly it is for its employees, Sunrich Meraki paid attention to marrying the interior work to functionalities, IT and working styles. In this rapidly evolving world, they made sure to introduce automation at Atlantic Global to boost productivity and reduce fuss for the end- user.

Having created an exceptional space for Atlantic Global, Sunrich Meraki was commended for their attention to detail, marrying art to functionality and making sure everyone felt like they belonged there by ensuring a small piece of their persona made its way into their workspace.
