Bar

Bar Campari, Vienna

Seitzergasse 6/1, Vienna , Austria

About the project

When designers Matteo Thun & Partners were approached by Peter Friese, owner of café Kameel in Vienna, and Campari, all of their 30 year experience working on Campari Designs helped them create the blueprint of the concept of the bar. The Viennese Bar Campari is all about the pleasure of art, about interaction and enjoying the very best mixed drinks outside of Italy. The design of the bar aims to bridge the gap between Milano and Vienna.

The designers simplified the interior colour palette to red, black and white, in line with Campari’s brand and Depero graphics, which have defined the history of Campari since 1924. A mosiáic by famous Italian brand Bisazza was also integrated into the space. The two-storey bar and café area has the & Akademie on the first floor, which serves as a discrete location for special events. Bar Campari Vienna is inspired by the dynamic and lively flair of Italian cafés.
