About the project
Bcredi is a loan technology and solutions company that is distinguished in its field by its ideals of creativity and innovation. Their new office is located on a corporate floor inside a downtown shopping mall and the company’s ideals are reflected in an open-space office architecture, which was achieved by demolishing some of the walls in the original compartmentalized floor plan. Exposed ceilings further enhance the feeling of spaciousness. Everything is integrated in the main living area at the heart of the project. The furniture was designed for the well-being of employees, and the art on the wall recalls the laid-back personality of the brand. Meeting rooms are designed as loose elements, sealed with glass partitions so as not to become a visual barrier to the rest of the space. Workstations are distributed all across and designed to maximise the functionality of the place, with approximately 80 employees housed near windows, and the city as a backdrop. In addition, a neutral colour palette was adopted – white paint in the masonry, gray coin floor and a grey carpet that also provides acoustic comfort. The OSB wood panels that were originally introduced as an economic option actually add personality to the interiors. The zigzag lighting design of the tube lamps gives identity to the work environment, while spotlights occupy the relaxation zones.
