About the project
Located in Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club on the banks of the majestic Dubai Creek, Park Hyatt Dubai provides an idyllic setting for a luxury getaway. LW Design‘s brief was to create a modern French brasserie inspired by the colours of the Deauville ocean front. Aati Contracts executed the project’s fit-out requirements. The objective was to create an interactive experience between the guests and the chefs where one feels part of the lively kitchen activities. It had to cater to all meal times and therefore should be light and airy yet still have a sophisticated ambience. The intent was to incorporate a bakery, live cooking stations, communal seating area, a chef’s table as well as an outdoor terrace executed in the same spirit as that of the interior space. Typical French delicatessen products were to be displayed as part of the environment creating a delectable boutique. All doors were to be done as double French doors, creating an open indoor/outdoor feel. The use of materials had to be durable and suitable for its use throughout and all seating units. As there are already 5 other outlets in this hotel, the intent was for this venue to capture a more upmarket and sophisticated clientele.
Located in Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club on the banks of the majestic Dubai Creek, Park Hyatt Dubai provides an idyllic setting for a luxury getaway. Brasserie du Park forms part of an inspired assortment of award-winning restaurants meticulously curated to ensure a sophisticated, enriching and uncommon experience.
The brief was to create a modern French brasserie inspired by the colours of the Deauville ocean front and to deliver an interactive experience between the guests and the chefs.
A light and airy yet sophisticated ambiance was achieved through the use of the materials. Beautifully veined Arabescato marble is used throughout the open show kitchen on counters as well as on the floor. Painted timber dado height panels in a dusty blue colour with a greyish tint reminiscent of the Ocean side of Deauville encase all the walls of the restaurant. An existing 3D feature wall was given a facelift to blend seamlessly with the new concept. A double height atrium in the middle of the restaurants is accentuated with a large bespoke glass and brass chandelier above a central banquet unit creating a spectacular focal point. 3D effect timber flooring creates warmth and intimacy as well as texture to the venue.
The open kitchen incorporates a bakery, live cooking stations, communal seating area, a chef’s table making for a wonderful interactive dining experience for the guests. Typical French delicatessen products are displayed as part of the setting creating a delectable boutique.
All doors are double French doors, contributing to a seamless open indoor/outdoor feel. The terrace is implemented in the same spirit as that of the interior space with marble top tables and light and interesting cane chairs making it an ideal place to enjoy unique views of the Creek and beyond.
