About the project
Located in Bridgehampton, New York, this single family home designed by The Turett Collaborative’s interiors team has been redecorated to create a contemporary, airy, vacation home. Completed in 2018, this refreshed house served as more than a weekend home during the lockdown. Down the street from the Hampton Classic Horse Show and surrounded by ponds, this five bedroom place opens into a floor-to-ceiling entryway, with all white walls and a gradient blue circular area rug for the foyer, complimented by a hanging light fixture composed of small, circular discs.
In the living room, a custom Lindsey Adelman looks over a reupholstered curved sofa. A long, wooden table surrounded by blue-tinged, leather chairs fills the dining room, and french doors offer a gorgeous view of the greenery outdoors. Above the table, two bubbly chandeliers add extra light to the sun-drenched room. A sunroom continues the cream and blue colour scheme, gathering an off-white sofa and chairs around a modern floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and TV unit for family time.
Throughout the lower level, elements of nature, such as intricate branches and seaside plants compliment the clean, cool colour choices. A tan walled, master suite doubles as a home office. A child’s bedroom in blue and third loft bedroom adhere to a aqua palette while maintaining their own individuality. In the backyard, a deck is made into a perfect entertaining space with two white tables and wooden chairs that compliment the house’s exterior. The deck overlooks a square pool with a lounge area in neutral tones.
