About the project

Nestled on Level 28 of the Gateway East building, is home to Campari Singapore. It is one of the very few corporate offices which sports a fully functional bar to market their alcoholic beverages through live-tasting events and bartend demonstration sessions. ID Integrated seek to first understand the work culture of Campari via surveys so that we can take note of the needs and wants of the users.

They went on to understand their products and targeted customers so that their office can be designed to be appealing to the clients of their client. Researching the image of Campari’s global offices is also an inevitable process so that they can plan their creative inputs within the parameters of Campari’s corporate identity.

Inspired by the culture of Campari staff and management, they work to create unique moments that celebrate life through their brands and every cocktail being served. Spatially speaking, the office is largely divided into three segments. They have at the start of the office – the Campari Bar which is the main point of congregation for product presentations as well as to serve as a social working space and lunch-in area.

The central zone is where they house the meeting rooms – large, small, and modular as they wanted their client to have space that is reconfigurable for different occasions. And at the end zone, is where they have the brains of the company – the workspace zone, which is a spacious and conducive open office littered with phonebooths and discussion pods.

One of the greatest challenges whilst designing the space has got to be the space itself. The layout of the office space is a parallelogram with acutely angled spaces which makes it very hard to utilize. However, instead of conceding these spaces to mediocre use, they made these spaces into premium and functional spaces – the Campari Bar being one of them
