About the project
Fitoor fomally known as Masala Canteen, is a chain of Indian Restaurants, this one 1s located in a Town Centre in Mississauga and is designed by Design TWG and Antrix Architects. Since it is the first franchise in Canada it was mandatory for the client make it a statement and make its presence. The idea was to create a vibrant and striking interior with abstract Indian artwork. The main focus was to represent the ornate Indian architectural elements in the space and lighting in a modem-day setting. The stunning chandelier with crystal light fixtures adorns the center of the space and other elements like the pop of bright colors in the booths creates a sense of balance and symmetry.
