Huckletree Oxford Office, London

Huckletree Oxford Circus is more than a co working space, it is a place where the metaverse influences reality, a unique and immersive space for both analytical and creative minds to come together. The office is spread across two light-filled floors and 22,000sqft with its own dedicated entrance on oxford street. The 4th floor is the main floor, with an informal meeting space, gaming zone, teapoint and breakout area that doubles as a presentation and events space. The office has two large enterprise studios, each with their own meeting rooms and teapoints, and several smaller studios, that use the communal facilities.

Upon entering the office, visitors are met by the colourful arches, that entice them on a journey through the space. Turning left, takes visitors towards a darker, reflective gaming cave, whilst turning right leads to a lighter teapoint breakout space. The reception desk, marked by unique dichroic film, creates a naturally impactful first impression for those visiting. Dichroic film, coloured film and reflective surfaces are core features of the space, all of which have been strategically placed to reflect the changing light entering the building, resulting in a constantly evolving space.

The arches, named ‘tunnel vision’ lead towards to studio spaces, with a black ceiling leading towards a LED lit infinity mirror that makes the corridor feel like a never-ending tunnel. The dramatic feature embodies the endless possibilities of the web3 world and the businesses that exist within, a true wow factor adding to the welcome experience. The studio spaces themselves are designed to be the perfect collaborative environment, with rope lighting adding metaphorical hints to biophilia, juxtaposing against the angular floorplate.

The design process was highly collaborative, ensuring that Huckletree remained at the core of the concept. The variety of working environments is unparalleled, teams can work from the parlour, run product demos from the immersive meta-lounge, ideate on a sunshine-drenched terrace oasis or dream-it-out in the calm kaleidoscopic atrium. In summary, Huckletree Oxford Street pushes the boundaries of the modern-day co working environment it is a playground for reinventing the future of everything.
