About the project
Welcome to the wonderfully mad yet sophisticated world of ‘Little Miss India’, the eclectic and extravagant ‘Mistress’ of the mansion designed by Stickman Tribe and executed by Bond Interiors. Extending from a long bloodline of wealthy textile & spice traders along the silk route, she gathered the most eccentric collectables now peppered along the corners of her British Colonial inspired estate.
The dining room is a rich fusion of color and texture, layered by the antique wood doors, the vibrant colors of the artwork and the reflection from the polished brass walls of the show kitchen. Framed behind the tall arches is the eclectic cocktail lounge, adorned with memorabilia of Little Miss India’s worldly travels. The collectables include one of the family’s very last spice trucks now transformed into a bar embellished with porcelain teapots, vintage glassware and tiffin boxes. The cocktail lounge is the ideal place for a laid back pre-meal drink.
Intertwined with the cocktail lounge is the Atrium, an elegant 5 meter high glasshouse framed by white French windows. Beautiful chandeliers and layered plants hang in the vast space giving the home a familiar and inviting feeling. The large glass doors open onto Little Miss India’s private courtyard and garden. Both diverse and unique, the courtyard offers an open outdoor dining experience, whereas the luscious garden offers more of an intimate atmosphere. Just like the ‘lady’ herself, this unique dining experience is layered, eccentric and enticing appealing to the old and the young, the opulent and the humble alike.
