Mandarin Oriental Residence, Turkey

This flat in the Mandarin Oriental Residence, Bodrum, features a naturesque theme. Designed by EscapeFromSofa, the interiors show their signature textures against a modern backdrop. The apartment consists of a master bedroom with walk-in closet and bathroom, an ensuite guest room, and a large living space that opens into a 40-square metre terrace, allowing for plenty of daylight.

The design of the residence is fluid with a diverse combination of wood panellings on the walls and ceilings. Different techniques, textures and colours were used on the wood to add dynamism to the design. The furniture was custom designed for each individual, and made from a selection of natural materials (solid woods, metals and marble surfaces), combined with stylish and comfortable upholstery.
