About the project
It was clear that Anderman Architects are to release their boundaries and act as craftsman creating a blank canvas, that will allow constantly shifting the focus from the architecture to the huge owner’s collection and back. In this project they are not only architects but also curators. Keeping in mind the best way to display this extraordinary collection.
The planning as well as the execution of the project was a slow process in which the clients were extremely involved. The overall aesthetics is rich in basic and rough materials. Their frame is primal and basic, based on materials such as raw concrete, OSB panels, unfinished steel and rusty tin, allowing the costumers collection to shine. Not steeling any focus. Working together as one.
