About the project

A learning environment that derives from flexibility of body, structure and thought. One of the very important principles in the design of the learning environment is the reference to the learner’s mental well-being, which aims to bring about a situation of a learner who takes initiative and works to promote it at all levels, in front of him and in front of the environment. Based on a simple premise that claims that a person’s mood is influenced by the environment and of course later affects the quality of his actions.

The planning of the space addressed two main emphases: adapting the structure to different and changing needs and variety of audiences and creating a safe and relaxing environment that encourages activity and learning. The solution Edit Abu Interior Design created is supported by a forging system, which is anchored to the ceiling and allows spaces to be closed and opened up to a complete and open space.

The forging system includes rails that allow complete curtaining of the curtain until the space is completely closed. In addition they created a system of variable working area that clings to the walls. They made sure that most of the elements in the space could move from place to place as needed. The use of padded surfaces, whether on the bench, walls or floor, contributed to a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. To complete the look, they used a palette of calm materials and colors combined with soft textiles alongside natural wood.
