About the project
This private residence in Arabian Ranches entailed a complete makeover project by HarfNoon Design Studio. To begin with, the house came with a lot of dark shades, beige and brown; along with solid wood floors. The objective was to flood the living space with a lot of light and create recreational areas where the family could relax after a long, tiring day.
Visitors are welcomed with a brass and wooden console table, layered with a huge image of a Lion; in addition to a white porcelain horse, a white bone necklace and jewellery box. The corridor is used to create a continuous transition space under the architectural arches and lined with three, massive pillar votives in brass and silver. This corridor leads to the kitchen and breakfast area.
The breakfast area has direct access to the garden with BBQ facilities; therefore, the intent was to keep the space minimal and clean. Overall, the colours selected were intended to contrast with the white French doors; and the space was accessorized with rustic as well as white furniture, along with those already owned by the family.
The master bedroom at the Private Residence, Arabian Ranches, Dubai was designed with grey to create an understated elegance and comfort. The accessories were simple and included silver frames that the family already owned, besides a candle and alarm clock.
