Staying true to RJ O’Brien’s brand. RJ O’Brien started as a family business. They’re now the largest independent brokerage and clearing firm in the U.S. But despite their success, they’ve never compromised on their core values of family, integrity and innovation.

When KPS was asked to plan RJ O’Brien’s new office space, they had to think of a way to subsume their identity into the physical environment. The aesthetic. The atmosphere. The character. It all had to reflect their values.

As you enter, you’re greeted by wooden cladding coupled with stone flooring – giving the reception a warm, welcoming, and homely feel. Step into the office space, and you begin to notice the character shining through – with sparing splashes of teal lining the carpet and walls. When it comes to colour, the kitchen also shines bright. Mustard yellow tiles combine with decorative foliage combine to create a vibrant and playful atmosphere. Though it’s big on style, it’s big on substance too. The open plan layout permits enough room for multiple screens – for even the busiest of brokers.
