Sberbank Europa Bank, Vienna

With its listed façade, the building on Schwarzenbergplatz fits harmoniously into the architecture of the location. A new office building was constructed behind this front in the 1980s. The architect Andreas Burghardt has now restructured this complex on behalf of Sberbank Europa AG. Bright, open-plan office spaces have been created in an area covering 6,000 sqm. Up to the management floor, all of the rooms are separated by glass walls alone.

The combination of modern light design using high-grade LED spotlights and a high-quality floor covering creates an ambience flooded with light. As in any office, the functions as a light reflector here. In contrasted to most office spaces, which are predominantly carpeted in grey, the Sberbank Europa AG offices are mainly fitted with textiles in sophisticated, warm colours. Individual colour accents are created by using a few bright colours. The result is an agreeably light and warm atmosphere in the rooms, which has a positive effect on the mood and performance of the staff.
