About the project
TAQA is one of the largest power and water utility companies in the Gulf region. Following a year of rapid growth, they wanted to upsize and modernize their workspace in Al Maqam Tower, Abu Dhabi. Thier work was spread across three floors. Two floors needed modifications and improvements, one needed a complete design and build from scratch. Behind every great space, there’s great challenges. With covid-related supply chain disruptions, some materials came with a 6-week delay.
The finished space and built by KPS comprises of 110 closed offices, 4-5 meeting rooms per floor, large open plan workspaces, and a reception area on the 25th floor.
