About the project
Ultraconfidentiel designed and built the new 11,000 square foot TCG office in BKC, Mumbai, mainly drawing inspiration from Japanese culture, a specific request from the client. The main interiors feature an amorphous wood shape, which is constantly changing along the entire space.
An impression of luxury is prevalent and amplified with the use of high-end materials, such as leather, marble, brass and wooden flooring. Likewise the large table in the boardroom featured brass inlay work in marble that replicates an art-piece, which was a particular favourite with the Chairman’s family. A subtle grey and white atmosphere, with the presence of greens give the workstation area a fresh and contemporary feel. Materials, such as wood for the task lights, produce a calming effect. Organic and abstract elements, preserved plants brought from Italy, glazed glass in cabins and corridors, and soft curved seating in the cafeteria, all merge into a coordinated design that links the inside with the outside.
The overall interiors represent a perfect harmony between minimalism and plush luxury – a new approach for the next generation of high-end offices, where refinement and elegance is achieved by the wise use of natural materials and attention to detail.
