About the project
A modern and contemporary development, The Address Residences Jumeirah Resort & Spa is the first Address Hotel and Residences property located on the beach in the prime JBR area. This new beachfront development integrates a hotel branded by premium luxury five-star Address Hotel, fully serviced apartments, and luxury residences within an iconic 77-storey architectural marvel.
KCA was appointed to design all interiors of the development which has been reflect the iconic and residential nature of The Address Hotels and Resorts brand. The design direction for this unique property can be best described by key words – Sophisticated, Timeless Beauty, Freshness, Simplicity, Elegance. The interiors translate creatively the ethos of living a good and luxury life by the sea. The ID inspiration came from the spectacular views and surroundings : neutral colors are enlivened with splashes of marine blues and green evoking subtly a beachside sensibility.
The interior design style has been taken from the design philosophy that “The Address Hotels & Resorts are warm and inviting in feel, radiating contemporary elegance using earth tone colours.” The style is modern and warm with an exciting mix of textures and colours, elegant high-end finishes and details in a luxury living environment.
The architectural volume of the Main Lobby is considered an Atrium space. The 16m and 12m height add a sense of luxury and the amazing height is one of the main features in keeping with the scale and iconic nature of the building. This volume of space creates the ‘grand sense of arrival’ with a full view to the sea beyond and is designed to bring together the soft color palettes and modern furniture pieces in a harmonious blend. Travertine marble, light timber and dark metal accents relate directly to the modern building.
The Deluxe Guestroom continues this philosophy and on entering the room, the bathroom wall is angled away from the entrance hallway rather than straight in the traditional room configuration. This feature has huge impact on the space and allows the guest through 3m high floor to ceiling windows, full views of the sea allowing natural light to flood the room. Beige and taupe tones are the base for the accent shades of blue. Hard finishes include light timber wood panelling, dark furniture timber, contrasting dark metal accents and lightly colored lacquered furniture. The overall design brings together the colour palette, textures and “attention to finer details” as described in the brief creating “a feel of home away from home with the distinct feel of being pampered”.
