About the project
The Radisson Blu Hotel Dakar Sea Place is located on the Fann Corniche on the Cape Verde Peninsula. The building was designed by the SAOTA studio following the contemporary Senegalese style. The hotel includes 180 suites, different terraces and pool areas, two restaurants, various bars and meeting and conference rooms, a spa and fitness center, a movie theater and a bowling alley, as well as various shops within the hotel itself.
The building, oriented to take full advantage of the views over the Atlantic Ocean, has a theatrical lobby and a spiral staircase that connects the restaurant and pool levels with the room area. The different restaurants and terraces were conceived as a box from which to watch the sunset over the ocean.
The interior design was carried out by ANTONI ASSOCIATES, merging elements of contemporary minimalist architecture with contemporary African elements full of character.
