About the project
The recent launch of XBD Collective required a creative studio that reflects the brand’s ethos, ambitions, and also a space that inspires their clients into the field of Architecture. The existing Bishop Design Residential office is located next door, which focuses mostly on the luxury interior property market of designing high end Villas, Mansions, Apartments, and Penthouses.
The main focal point of the design of XBD Collective‘s office was for their Clients to get inspired and also to be able to ‘touch and feel’ their designs, not only on a material board but in a real environment.
An industrial style was implemented throughout the space in order to highlight functionality and a sense of urbanism. Their design studio needed extensive storage for the material library, whilst also keeping an open plan arrangement, which is perfect for team working and brainstorming. It was also a necessity to have a larger conference area, with plenty of space for design presentations and a small management office. The 1967 Vespa takes pride of place within the studio, and provides a great talking point with Clients.
The office’s design approach features key lighting selections and an overall glamorous look and feel, while exhibiting contemporary and clean lines.
